ABOUT THE COMPETITION VŠE TALENT

WITH WHAT KIND OF PERFORMANCE IS IT POSSIBLE TO APPLY?
The type of performance is up to your imagination. Television talent shows can also be your source of inspiration. Examples of performances are: dancing, singing, acrobatics, magic, humorous and recessive scenes, etc. But maybe you will come up with something completely new. We are looking forward to it.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The competition Talent VŠE can attend any VŠE student, VŠE graduate, VŠE pedagogue, VŠE employee and in case of groups also persons outside VŠE.
Group rule: in case of group of two or more performers competing, at least 50% of them must be students, graduates, employees or pedagogues from VŠE.
LENGTH AND CHARACTER OF THE PERFORMANCE
The length of the performance should not exceed 3 minutes (in case of impossibility to shorten your performance, it is possible to request an exception).
The performance must be safely feasible in the premises of VŠE.
Open fire performances are not allowed.
Contestants can bring their own musical background to their performance, or anyone can accompany them, whether musically or with any accompanying choreography.
Performances don’t have to be different every time. On the contrary. In the semifinal and in the final, the same performance must be performed.
PRIZES
All competitors who advance to the semifinal will receive a ticket to the VŠE Ball. The top five will have the opportunity to perform at VŠE Representative Ball, win Prague’s Lucerna and Lucerna Music Bar.
Furthermore, the finalists will receive valuable financial prizes in the following order:
- place 30,000 CZK
- place 15,000 CZK
- place 15,000 CZK
- place 10,000 CZK
- place 10,000 CZK
SCHEDULE
1st round of the competition
will take place on 21 November 19pm at Prague University of Economics and Business
– Round 1 is closed to spectators
Final
will take place on 24 November 19pm in the Vencovského auditorium at Prague University of Economics and Business
– The final is open for spectators – come to see and support the participants!
Exhibition
will take place in Prague’s Lucerna 28 November
The top five performers will advance to the exhibition. The absolute winner of the competition will be announced directly in Lucerna and all five finalists will be awarded prizes.
